Objectives for haumana (students)

• Understand the history of Hawai`i and how hula, a sacred piece of the Hawaiian culture, has prevailed.
• Learn techniques for steps, hand motions, and implements.​
• Identify Hawaiian words and phrases relevant to the kahea.
• Recite Oli (chants).
• Create hula garments and accessories. No previous skills necessary.
