August 8, 2023, the day that changed Maui forever.
Kamaʻāina and communities directly affected span from upcountry region in Kula and Olinda to the western coast near Kihei and devastating a majority of Lahaina. Sacred landmarks, historical structures, hale, and the livelihoods of many have been destroyed.
